Okay, so you can't pronounce the name of the company any better than me but I gotta tell you: Imse Vimse make a KILLER cloth diaper!
Since we started in on cloth diapers (Lu was about 6 mos. old), we've done pretty okay using the
standard ole velcro-wrap covers--you know, the ones with the little pockets inside that you slip the diaper into? While I never exactly lodged a complaint, it wasn't until Chris brought home an Imse Vimse that I realized we'd been had. Twelve months! That's one year we could've been using this sleek, organic, pocket-less diaper cover! Yep--that's right. No pocket! I call that revolutionary. But that came later.
My first thought was, How much did this cost us?
But the Imse Vimse has turned out to be my absolute fave. No wonder it won the "Babygear Gold" award (whatever that is!). No longer does Lu have a little "ducktail" sticking out of her pants (believe me--it's hard for someone with carpel tunnel to get diapers to fit in that darn little pocket!); no more of that annoying bunching after the diaper goes wet. And the extra wide velcro tabs make cinching a snap!
Or...something like that.
